About REC GradePoint

Our Mission

REC GradePoint was built with a simple mission: to remove the stress from academic planning. As engineering students at Rajalakshmi Engineering College, we often found it difficult to manually calculate the exact marks needed in end-semester exams to achieve our target grades. This tool automates that process.

Why We Built This

The calculation logic for internal marks, GPA, and CGPA can be complex, especially with varying regulations. We wanted a tool that:

• Is fast and works offline.
• Respects privacy (no data leaves your phone).
• Provides "Dream GPA" strategies—telling you exactly what to score.

The Team

This project is an independent initiative by students from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. We are passionate about open-source software and student productivity. We are constantly updating the tool to reflect the latest college regulations.

Transparency & Privacy

We believe in full transparency. This tool is client-side only, meaning your marks are processed right in your browser and are never sent to any server. We use Google Analytics solely to understand which features are most popular.
